Ordinary Member

​AICNT Constitution

Ordinary Member

(1) Any person that meets the following criteria may apply to become an Ordinary Member:

(a) be natural person; and

(b) be a licensed conveyancer issued with a Conveyancing Agent’s Licence in the Northern Territory in accordance with the Agents’ Licensing Act (NT)

(2) An Ordinary Member shall:

(a) be liable to pay any fee, subscription or levy to the Association;

(b) be eligible to hold office as a member of the Australian Council;

(c) be eligible to hold office as a member of the Executive,

(d) receive notices of and invited to attend all General Meetings; and

(e) be entitled to vote at General Meetings.

Affiliate Member

Affiliate Member

(1)
Any person that meets the following criteria may apply to become An Affiliate Member:

(a) a person enrolled as a student in the course prescribed for qualification as a conveyancer in the Northern Territory of Australia; or

(b) a person, not holding a Conveyancing Agent’s Licence in the Northern Territory, who is approved as an Affiliate Member.

(2) An Affiliate shall:

(a) be liable to pay any fee, subscription or levy to the Association;

(b) be entitled to receive notices of all general meetings and to attend thereat;

(c) be eligible to be a member of the Executive;

(d) be eligible to hold office as a member of the Australian Council; and

(e) be entitled to vote at general meetings.
